What should a good reentry meeting include?

Who's in the room
The student (when appropriate), a parent or guardian, a school counselor or psychologist, a nurse if relevant, and someone who can speak for the student's teachers.
What to cover
Any recommendations from the treatment team, a plan for missed work, temporary schedule or attendance adjustments, a trusted adult the student can go to, and what to say (or not say) to classmates.
Close with a date
Schedule the first follow-up check-in before anyone leaves the room. Reentry is a process, not a single day.
